#####[ Keyboard Shortcuts ]##### This is not a complete list, but here a few keyboard shortcuts that should help: The follwoing should work anywhere: ----------------------------------- Ctrl+Alt+Backspace = Kill X and go to console Ctrl+Alt+Del = Reboot computer Quick tip: ---------- If a window is larger than your screen and maximzing is not an option or doing so does not help, you can "slide" it up, so to speak, by holding down the Alt key and using the left-click on your mouse to move it but make sure the window is not maximazed first. On JWM... --------- Many of these keyboard shortcuts exist because they were set as one of the right-click options for items on the desktop. However, the main way to change keyboard shortcuts for JWM is to edit the "~/.jwm/jwmrc-personal" file. Hyper = Windows Key on most keyboards or the "Command" key on an Apple keyboard Hyper+h = File Manager Hyper+t = Terminal Hyper+Spacebar = 'gRun' or 'xfce4-appfinder' if using an i486 or i586 and newer Hyper+c = 'xcalc' or 'galculator' if using an i486 or i586 and newer Hyper+g = ColorPicker for choosing a color and then copies to clipboard Hyper+l = Lock screen Ctrl+Alt+F4 = Suspend Ctrl+Alt+[Left/Right keys] = Switch workspaces Hyper+s = Spellcheck selected text using a combination of 'xsel' and 'aspell' ROX file manager keyboard shortcuts are your typical Ctrl+c and Ctrl+v, copy/paste stuff, but when in doubt, open the ROX file manager and click the help button and read through the docs for some extras. Probably the most useful shortcut for ROX is "/" for quickly searching and navigating through files and directories; it also supports tab completion, but make sure to use Esc key when finished if needing to use a right-click menu item on a file or folder.
