#####[ Usernames and Passwords ]##### The default username is "root" and the default password is "woofwoof" without the quotes. If you would like to change the password, all you need to do is run 'passwd' in a terminal. As far as user management goes, after installing PsychOS486, you can do it the normal way via the command-line like on most other GNU/Linux distributions. PsychOS486 is based on Slacko Puppy 5.3.1 but that also means it is a Puppy version of Slackware 13.37, if that helps when researching helps and howto's on these sorts of things. ## Screen Locking Console ------- From the console, you can lock the screen using 'vlock' for the current TTY or use 'vlock -a' to lock all of them at once. However, note that this version of vlock does not hide your screen contents so you may want to run 'clear' to clear the screen, if you can, first. The password to unlock is the same as the username password, which is 'woofwoof' if using the default root setup. JWM --- To lock the screen, just either click the "lock" icon on the desktop or use "HYPER+l" (HYPER is the Windows or Command key). If you have never locked the screen from within JWM before, you will be asked for a password to use. It is suggested that you keep this as unique as possible. If you want to reset this password, just right-click the "lock" item on the JWM desktop and select "Clear xlock password." Select "Configure screen locking" to pick what you want to see when the screen is locked. XFCE ---- You can lock the screen from the XFCE desktop by either clicking the exit door looking icon in the main panel at the very top left or by using "SUPER+l" or "Ctrl+Alt+l" keyboard combination. "SUPER" is either the Windows or Command key.
