################################################################ # 2020/05/05 - PsychOS486 0.1.4:5 - Porteus-XFCE-v3.1-i486.iso # ################################################################ [0.1.4] After installing Porteus-XFCE-v3.1-i486.iso, I installed both GrafX2 and Inkscape using 'installpkg' with txz and tgz files (even though Inkscape couldn't open because of missing libgtkspell something or other). I also changed the wallpaper to use the one PsychOS 3.4.6 i686 version uses. I then ran the 'make_iso.sh' script from "/mnt/sda1/porteus." It did create a bootable ISO but none of the software I added or wallpaper changed at all. Myabe if I copy "/boot" and "/porteus" to "/" (root) and ran it again it would work? However, I do not think that it is compressing anything when it makes an ISO because the one it created was over 900MB in size. I do have another idea involving Porteus-XFCE-v3.1-i486.iso and that is to installed the 'reafractainstaller' tools like what Devuan uses and then use that to install Porteus instead of its installer. Perhaps tools such as 'linux-live' or 'Respin' (with editing) could then work. And honestly, Porteus's installer adds itself in a really weird way. Thunar says I have both a root partition and "/mnt/sda1" mounted as if they are separate. [0.1.5] I moved the 'make_iso.sh' and "/boot" to root and the build keeps failing because files keep changing while it is building.
