################################################################### # 2020/06/25 - PsychOS486 1.2.0:1 - I have a talent for "borking" # ################################################################### [PsychOS486 1.2.0] I have a talent for "borking." This time around I just focused on getting 'GrafX2' installed. However, the end result was also 'GLIB_2.7' related. I might just say "the heck with it" and copy/paste between "/dev/sda1" (Puppy) and "/dev/sda2" (Slackware 14.1) and by that I mean root-related files. I'll have to be in Slackware 14.1 to do it. It's not like I can mess it up any worse. The only other thing is to try to get some developer tools on Puppy with 'sbopkg' installed (slackbuildsonly.org) and compile everything from source. [PsychOS486 1.2.1] I tried copy/pasting contents within the root folder of Slackware 14.1 to the Puppy and that didn't work (kernel panic), though I kind of already knew it would do that. I also ran across 'X-slacko' and though it claims it is Slackware 14.1 compatible, it uses an i586 kernel. I tried replacing its 'initrd.gz' and 'vmlinuz' files with 'Slacko Pup 5.3.1,' but that also resulted in a kernel panic.
