########################################################################################### # 2020/06/28 - PsychOS486 1.2.3 - Compiled the 4.4.27 kernel and 'linux-live' boot issues # ########################################################################################### I spent several hours yesterday compiling the 4.4.27 kernel so that I could get the 'linux-live' script working. It did successfully compile an ISO in the end, all be it taking forever, but there were issues during boot. It may be aufs-related, but not sure. But, this may mean that either the 'liveslack' or 'respin' will work this time. However, I may need to try to compiling the 4.4.27 kernel in an i486 setting such as with QEMU, if that is possible, in the long-run, for any of this to actually work like I need it to. The problem is, storage space for large img files is at a premium at the moment.
