####################################################### # 2020/07/01 - PsychOS486 1.2.5 - Respin failed again # ####################################################### I ran the 'respin backup' command again after making sure sda1 was the only partition and that Slackware 14.1 with the 4.4.27 kernel was on it. But, then I got: mount: mounting /dev/sda1 on /mnt failed: No such file or directory ERROR: No /sbin/init found on rootdev (or not mounted). Trouble ahead. ...I have no idea what that means or how to fix it. I also tried to create an ISO using 'mkisofs' ('genisoimg') while Slacko Pup 5.3.1 was booted from a disc with sda1 mounted (Slackware 14.1) and sdb1 (external hard drive) was mounted to give the ISO a place to be created. It didn't work as standard ISO's cannot exceed 4096MB in size, to which it should not have been that large anyway. I'm going to install Slacko Pup and try to compile a 4.x kernel and see what happens.
