#################################################### # 2020/07/08 - PsychOS486 1.2.6 - Two options left # #################################################### I gave Porteus another try and the ISO that the 'make_iso.sh' script generated was ~900MB in size after only adding some gcc, cmake, etc, for 'sbopkg' and 'GrafX2'. Unfortunately, when that ISO was booted on QEMU, none of my changes were present. Also, while trying to run 'sbopkg before creating the ISO, one of the builds said that it couldn't find the 'gpg' command. I'm now only left with two options at this point for PsychOS486 and that is Slacko Pup 5.3.1 with 'installpkg' added from TXZ Pup and maybe some Puppy Package Manager tweaking or a Linux From Scratch project. However, I'm leaning heavily towards the Slacko Pup option and just tell people to get over broken SSL related stuff. If Porteus or TinyCore didn't have that weird module package thing going on and behaved more like how 'remasterpup2' script works (from Puppy Linux), I would be using one of them instead, but this crap is getting old and here we are.
