###################################################################### # 2020/12/08 - PsychDOS 0.0.1 - Slacko vs KolibriOS as a workstation # # for DOSBox # ###################################################################### I've been playing around with DOSBox on Slacko Puppy 6.3.2 so as to have a light and fast environment for working on PsychDOS. However, something about it just seemed off and I can tell things could be even lighter and this is when I remembered that KolibriOS included DOSBox and there is just no way that I am aware of to get faster and lighter than that. But because KolibriOS is meant to run Live (in RAM), I followed the instructions of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqn5rWD0yTE but used PsychOS 3.4.6 instead of Debian 10. Essentially, a GNU/Linux distribution is being used to lay the foundation to have kolibri.img as a GRUB menu option and a FAT32 partition reserved for saving files since KolibriOS only writes to FAT12, FAT16, and FAT32, but it supposedly can read EXT2/4, but it fails to do so for me. I do, however, still have to use the PsychOS half to add files from USB hard drives and the like but given that they are also FAT32, I am not sure why.
