If your computer is using a newer processor than what the intended 
software was designed to run on, it may have speed-related issues. You
can perhaps (no guarantees) fix this by running one of two included
programs, THROTTLE or SlowDOS. These programs were placed within the
"PROGRAMS\SYSTEM\BIN" directory and so if PsychDOS was started using the
RUNME.BAT file, all you need to do is run the top menu bar's SHELL
option, followed by using either the THROTTLE or SlowDOS 
command-line programs. For command-line help, use either "THROTTLE /?"
or "SLOWDOS /?". Documentation is included with these programs in the
same directory.
