I was having a hard time getting APA formatting for PsychOS so I'm downloading
'apacite' from:

    http://mirrors.ctan.org/biblio/bibtex/contrib/apacite.zip

Then, I unpacked it and run:

    tex apacite.ins

From there, I move the apacite folder to "/usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/tex/latex/"

I also copied any .sty files to "/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/lyx/"
I ran "sudo texhash" and then reconfigure in Lyx.
