* Live boot from ISO has wanted default desktop environment, XFCE

* Correct icon for Whiskermenu in place; experimenting with alternative desktop
  managers (login screen) seemed to have changed it back to XFCE's default logo.

* The Live Installer keeps picking Afrikaans as its default language and those
  not paying attention during the install may not notice since it's in 
  English anyway

* A safe installation time total is currently about 1.5 hours

* Need to install gksudo for VeraCrypt
    - Update [09/17/2016]: The binary wasn't set to proper permissions.
    
* Wifi networks available are in alphabetical order rather than by signal 
  strength; just noticed and no known way to change it.
