* VLC wouldn't open on new ISO (1.8.1). This may be due to packages that 
need to be removed in the attempt of getting codecs to work.
    - A guide was found for restricting codecs for RPM based Linux 
    distributions; it called for the installation and then later removal 
    of packages.

* Need to take a look at installed packages on Xubuntu to see what needs 
  to be installed for Lyx, VLC, and if there are other needed programs I 
  may have forgotten.
    - Lyx was missing APA document classes. (See PsychOS 2016:03:06)
