#################################################################### # 2019/04/20 - PsychOS 3.4.2-3 - Backlight on older Macbook issues # #################################################################### I got tap-to-click working. I'm not really sure if it has to do with installing any packages or just happen to miss the "Touchpad" tab in the Mouse and Touchpad settings application; I could have sworn it wasn't there before. I still haven't been able to get the laptop lid close to lock and suspend to work correctly since I upgraded 'xfce4-power-manager'. I'm going to compile PsychOS ISO with current and then again with a downgraded version, if possible. Just sort of realized that the tap-to-click fix is probably relative and the user may have to enable it themselves, but at least it's there. I don't know how it happened, but the classic blacklight not working on a Macbook (4,1 2008) when using Linux showed back up, something I haven't seen in a while. I'm reinstalling with 3.4.1 and see if that will fix it. It could have been because of messing with ACPI-related stuff.
